A very special exhibition of duo paintings is taking place in the Ravenstein care centre in Geldermalsen .
Joye Holtzer and Hanny de Winter, who live in Geldermalsen and Meteren respectively, paint together on 1 canvas. They have been doing this for over 17 years now. For the first time, they are showing a large part of their work. They paint intuitively, which means that the painting gradually takes shape without a predetermined plan. They paint together on the canvas at the same time or in turns. Yet the paintings form a unity.
Duo painting is about a relationship between 2 people where you learn to give each other space and to appreciate each other’s own creativity. It is a real meeting on all kinds of human levels.
The exhibition will run until 31 August. Opening hours during the week are 10am-12pm and 2pm-5pm.
